Wow!! I was in the Newport store a few weeks back and was completely blown away!! First of all, the store is beautiful and secondly the information that I received was amazing to say the least. I really appreciated the time that was taken to explain the candles, process, etc. to me. I was completely hooked, immediately threw out every single Yankee Candle that I had in my house when I returned home and have been on a "mission" to spread the word!! I am sending these to a friend (who also threw her Yankee Candles away after I relayed the information I received) and she can't wait to receive them. I have never had such beautifully scented candles before and absolutely love them!! Just wanted you to know that you have a customer for life as well as a new "mouthpiece"! Thanks again!! The Peppermint scent does wonders for sinus issues and their tealights DO last 8-10 hours! Ordinary scented candles used to give us terrible headaches. Since we found Gelissimo...NO MORE HEADACHES! The store is a true gem. It's gel candles are not only made in the USA, but are excellent and they have an vast supply of fragrances. Even though I hail from CA, I made it a point to visit again this year while on a cruise stop during Sept. 2009 as I needed more candles for the reproduction glass candlesticks I purchased from Sandwich Glass last year. Essie is a gracious hostess, and now the shop has even more great items to choose from. I also purchased two hand made bracelets in addition to acquiring more candle items. I recommend getting on the email list so you can enjoy and hear about the products year round. I feel like I made a new friend the moment I stepped into this gem of a shop and you will enjoy it too. I have not found one candle in Gelissimo that bothers my senses and have enjoyed every one I've bought. I also enjoy the fact they won't harm my family while burning.
